Katalox Light
Katalox®-Light systems need a very simple backwash both in gravity filters as well as in pressure filters. Filters can be back washed without water pressure i.e without using any pumps or compressors and there will be atleast 80% less waste water compared to any conventional media like BIRM, Greensand, Greensand Plus, Filox and many other old technologies available in market. Only 1.5% of daily water flow is used for back washing. Katalox®-Light media needs a backwash only once a week.
