Gwalior Polypipes Limited incorporated in the year 1982 to manufacture various types of Plastic Pipes and associated fittings for use in Integrated Water Management Systems, on Automated, Microprocessor based extrusion/Corrugation equipments imported from Germany and Canada.
Gwalior Polypipes Limited pioneered in manufacturing uPVC Corrugated Perforated/Non-Perforated Pipes in the country confirming to IS 9271:2004, ASTM F-800 & DIN–1187 and uPVC rigid pipes confirming to IS 4985:2000. It has also introduced HDPE Single Wall Corrugated (SWC) Ducts/Pipes used in reinforced and prestressed concrete for general bridge constructions conforming to IRS-Concrete Bridge Code: 1997, Fib–7:2000; IRC:18-2000 and HDPE Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) Ducts/Pipes for Conduit Systems for Signal Protection, Electrical and Communication Installation Buried Underground Confirming to IS:14930 (Part-II) & BS EN 50086 (1, 2 & 4).
The Construction Division has executed Sub-surface Drainage work in approximately 11000 Hectares in the State of Rajasthan as an Indian Associate to Met-chem-Canada. The company is fully equipped with complete technical infrastructure and abroad-trained manpower for drainage investigation, design, construction, execution and maintenance of large projects.

History of Production Process
The first production unit of the company came into existence in 1984. It is dynamically engaged as a manufacturer, exporter andsupplier of Rigid PVC Pipes and fittings of all capacities and sizes from 63 mm to 450 mm nominal diameters conforming to International Standards Specifications. The production of the range is carried out on its most automated, microprocessor based extrusion lines imported from Battenfield Extrusion-Technic, Germany.
The second unit started its production in 1995 to manufacture high quality, world class PVC / HDPE Pipes and associated fittings in a wide range of sizes from 50 mm to 455 mm nominal diameters with state-of- the-art vaccum forming technology imported from Canada. The plant was set-up with a technology transfer deal from Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA).The profile of corrugation is designed by Mag-Gill University, Canada to suit the Indian climatic and working conditions.
The company has also introduced PVC / HDPE Double Wall Corrugated (DWC) pipes with corrugated outer wall and inner smooth surface.
Management
The management of the company comprises of technocrats. The production is being done by staff trained in Canada. The company has extensively worked with government, semi-government, public sector organizations and multinational corporations providing them tailor made products as per their exact requirements.
