PRIMA PUMPS PVT. LTD., was established in 1987, by an entrepreneur technocrat, Mr. J.C. PATEL and have completed 25 years of their operations as a reputed submersible pump manufacturer in India. Mr.J.C. Patel, a mechanical and electrical engineer, had his education in U.K. He had practical training with WEIR PUMPS LTD., U.K for five years and also working experience as a designer for three years with WEIR PUMPS LTD., He is a member of I.E.E. London, M.I.E. (India) and a Chartered Engineer. He had working experience with various reputed companies like M/s. Jyoti Limited, M/s. Voltas Limited, M/s. SLM Maneklal Industries Limited, M/s. Calama Pumps Limited.
Mr. V.S. MEWADA, Director is looking after overall working of the company is also having an SSI Unit, manufacturing ail types of Electric Control Panels upto 250 HP.
Another Director Mr. R.T. PILLAI is looking after marketing activities of PRIMA PUMPS. He also have 25 years working experience with M/s Calama Pumps Limited, Ahmedabad.

PRIMA launched their operations as a pioneer in open well submersible pump sets. The revolution started with replacing mono blocks by Horizontal Open well Submersible Pump sets, which gives more efficient pumping system because of positive suction. Then to cater for higher head PRIMA developed multistage vertical open well submersible pump sets. Since 1987 PRIMA have custom designed and manufactured thousands of submersible pumps for wide range of pumping applications.
We are holding BIS license for open well submersible pumps IS 14220 CM / L-3603247.
Along with Open well Submersible Pumps, PRIMA also started manufacturing conventional 6" and 8" Bore well Submersible Pump sets which confirms to Indian Standards With a view to expand its products range, PRIMA launched 4" Bore well Submersible Pump sets. Encouraged by satisfactory performance of existing range of submersible pump sets to handle clean and clear water, PRIMA made custom designed stainless steel construction open wells, with double mechanical seal to handle water at 70 degree centigrade temperature.

The Quality of PRIMA submersible pump sets are approved by various marketing agencies & O.E.Ms. We have also exported our pump sets to Africa and Gulf Countries. We have also successfully developed and manufactured open well submersible mono set suitable for 1450 RPM.
