The ‘SANT GROUP’ was seeded by Late Thakur Ganpat Rai in 1953 with manufacturing of industrial valves under the brand name ‘SANT’ which quickly became the household name for valves all over India. The success of his tale which started with manufacturing quality valves has today transformed in a 
group of companies having diversified into manufacturing GI fittings,Carbon 
Steel fittings, Forged fittings, distribution of Composite Pipes, along with a 
100% export unit of hand tools and power tools.

Today ‘SANT GROUP’ is lead by an equally capable administrator Th. Rup 
Singh Dhumal, Managing Director of ‘SANT VALVES’.‘SANT’ valves are manufactured for demanding applications in accordance to various national and international standards. Our products have consistently been in the service of 
the people in the country and abroad for more than 6 decades.

SANT' being the active participant in formulation of Quality Standards at the national level, speaks itself of being very much quality conscious at all stages of manufacture, right from the initial design to the final finished product to satisfy the exact demand of our huge list of clients such as Power plants, Chemical & Petrochemical industries, Fertilizer, Paper, Sugar, Cement, Textile, Mills & Water works etc. to name a few. Our quality maintenance programme starts from the procurement of both direct & indirect raw materials, consumables, and continues at all stage of manufacture. The highly qualified and experienced technical staff is responsible for all the important function of Quality Control level enumerated below :

- Testing of direct raw materials and Castings / Forgings for Chemical & Physical test results in our well equipped laboratory with most
- sophisticated machinery / equipment such as Electrolytic Analyser, Universal testing machine, Hardness testing machine, Carbon /
- Sulphur apparatus and other allied equipment i.e. Pressure Gauge Calibrator etc. The equipment installed in our Laboratory is regularly
- calibrated as per standard norms. 

- Checking the Vendors capabilities and strict Inspection and Testing of incoming consumables.
- Neat Fettling and cleaning of castings and Forgings.
- Pre-machining testing of castings.
- Heat- treatment of stainless steel components as per requirement of standards.

- In-process inspection at Shop Floor for dimensions & other details with duly Calibrated Tools, Jigs, Fixtures & Measuring Instruments.
- Pre-Assembly inspection of finished components.
- Post- Assembly inspection of finished products.
- Excellent equipment installed for Hydro, Pneumatic and Steam Testing of Valves as per requirements.

- Painting and preparation for despatch.
- Pre- despatch inspection.
- Third party inspections like Lloyd’s, TUV, DNV, PDIL, etc.
- Maintenance of Quality Control Records at all levels of production.

- In- plant training to the staff and well versed labour force as per standard norms and good engineering practice.
